I. General Provisions

The Privacy Policy defines how personal data of Users necessary for the provision of electronic services via the website www.omegavintagewatch.com (hereinafter: the Service) are collected, processed, and stored. The Service collects only personal data necessary for the provision and development of the services offered. 

Personal data collected through the Service are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter GDPR), as well as the Act on the Protection of Personal Data of 10 May 2018.

III. Purpose of Personal Data Collection 

Personal data are used for the following purposes: 

  • Account registration and User identity verification, 
  • Enabling login to the Service, 
  • Contract performance regarding services and e-services, 
  • Communication with the User (live chat, contact form, etc.), 
  • Newsletter delivery (after obtaining User's consent), 
  • Operating the comments system, 
  • Providing social services, 
  • Promotion of the Administrator's offers, 
  • Marketing, remarketing, affiliation, 
  • Personalization of the Service for Users, 
  • Analytical and statistical purposes, 
  • Debt collection, 
  • Establishing and pursuing claims or defense against them. Providing data is voluntary but necessary to conclude a contract or use other functionalities of the Service. 


IV. Types of Processed Personal Data

The Administrator may process User's personal data, including name, date of birth, address, email address, phone number, and Tax Identification Number (NIP). 


V. Period of Personal Data Processing

User's personal data will be processed for the following periods: 

  • If the basis for data processing is contract performance - until the expiration of claims after contract performance, 
  • If the basis for data processing is consent - until its withdrawal, and after withdrawal, until the expiration of claims. In both cases, the limitation period is 6 years, and for claims related to periodic services and claims related to business activities - 3 years (unless a specific provision states otherwise). 


VI. Personal Data Disclosure

User's personal data may be transferred to entities related to the Administrator, its subcontractors, and entities cooperating with the Administrator, e.g., companies handling e-payments, courier/postal service providers, and law firms. User's personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). 


VII. User Rights 

The Service User has the right to: access their personal data, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal). To exercise these rights, the User should send a request to [email protected]. The Administrator will fulfill or reject the request promptly, within one month from its receipt. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if they believe that the processing violates their rights and freedoms (GDPR). 


VIII. Cookies 

The Service collects information using cookies - session, persistent, and third-party cookies. The collection of cookies supports the correct provision of services on the Service and serves statistical purposes. Users can set the scope of cookies access to their device in their browser settings. 


IX. Automated Decision Making and Profiling

User data cannot be processed in an automated manner that would result in any decisions being made. User data can be profiled for the purpose of content adaptation and offer personalization after User's consent. 


X. Final Provisions

The Administrator has the right to amend the Privacy Policy, while User's rights will not be limited. Information about the introduced changes will be available in the form of a message on the Service. Matters not covered by this Privacy Policy are subject to the provisions of GDPR and Polish law.
